Melanie Scott launched MJS Financial Services in 2020, following a career in financial services spanning over 22 years. Our ultimate passion is to help clients achieve the life that they want and to help them to achieve a secure financial future.

About Mel
My career in Financial Services commenced in 2000. I am proud to have worked for some of the leading and most respected financial institutions and life companies.
I was appointed the youngest Bank Manager in South Wales in the early part of my career. Having gained a solid background of Retail banking, I decided to gain a wider experience of financial services.
My experience has spanned from working within the retirement sector, general insurance and working for an Investment bank offering investment solutions for high-net-worth individuals.
The last 10 years have been spent in the most privileged position working directly with clients helping them to achieve their life goals as a financial advisor for one of the UK’s respected life companies before I decided to establish my own company MJS Financial Services where I can now offer truly Independent Financial Advice.
On a personal note, I am married and have two teenage children. I also have a dog called Bob. He doesn’t like to walk much but loves spending time in the office with me.
Family life is incredibly important to me. In my spare time when I am not being ‘mum taxi service’ I love to travel and like to keep fit by walking and doing CrossFit.
I do believe we have ‘One life and we should all be able to live it well’.
